Terrain Management

Vail Ski and Snowboard School's Terrain Management Plan, is in collaboration between, Vail Snow Pros, Vail Ski Patrol, and Vail Operations.

 

 Flow Zones indicate high traffic areas, these ares are deemed no teaching areas.  Make a plan with your students and navigate these zones with caution.

Closed Zones have been identified by Vail Ski Patrol as areas high risk rescue zones.  At no point should an instructor and student be in this terrain.
